Industry Honors for Products Liability Defense

Our attorneys are routinely selected by their peers for inclusion in Super Lawyers, and by Best Lawyers which also ranks Martin Bischoff among the Best Law Firms in the practice area of Product Liability Litigation – Defendants. In addition to these honors, three of our attorneys are sustaining members of the Product Liability Advisory Council (“PLAC”). PLAC, a national association of manufacturers and counsel who defend them, has worked for years to advance improvements in product liability law and to identify appellate cases of significance in their effect upon the field, and has filed amicus briefs in over a thousand such cases throughout the United States. Jonathan Hoffman, one of the firm’s founding members, has been a long-time member of PLAC’s case selection committee and has been heavily involved in writing, as well as supervising, other members’ preparation of amicus briefs submitted on behalf of PLAC. In addition, our firm has also helped PLAC provide input to the American Law Institute on the Restatement (Third) Product Liability, as well as to proposed changes to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and the Federal Rules of Evidence.
