Mr. Cramer represents clients in a broad range of complex civil litigation matters.  He is regional counsel for a major recreational products manufacturer, and has devotes a substantial portion of his practice to litigating claims involving product liability, aviation, premises liability, and defending financial institutions and creditors’ rights. He devotes part of his practice to representing and advising businesses in transactional matters, and when necessary, commercial litigation.

  • Obtained dismissal of client for lack of personal jurisdiction at the Oregon Supreme Court through writ of mandamus. Opinion at Cox v. HP Inc., 368 Or. 477 (2021).
  • Obtained summary judgment on behalf of timber purchaser in Employer Liability Law claim arising out of wrongful death and successfully defended victory on appeal.
  • Represented fixed base operators (FBO) in litigation arising out of aviation accidents;
  • Represented recreational vehicle manufacturer in personal injury cases in Oregon and Washington, including catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases.
  • Defended Part 133 operator in claims arising out of tree harvesting operations.
  • Defended automobile manufacturer in personal injury case to achieve favorable settlement and defended the same in a subrogation arbitration over PIP benefits, obtaining a defense judgment on the subrogation portion of the case.
  • Obtained summary judgment for major flooring manufacturer in slip-and-fall case in Oregon.
