COMMERCIAL LITIGATION, FINANCIAL INSTITUTION DEFENSE, & CREDITORS’ RIGHTS
Our attorneys are experienced in handling litigation involving the major property and casualty insurance lines, as well as many specialty coverage areas.
This includes environmental liability, aviation coverage, product liability and professional liability. Members of the firm have a long-standing relationship with Underwriters at Lloyd’s of London. We are regularly called upon by London market insurers to provide coverage analysis and defend some of the Pacific Northwest’s largest and most complex matters.
Nationally & Locally Partnered
Our attorneys are retained by national banks and other financial institutions to defend lawsuits for alleged wrongful foreclosure, and alleged violations of consumer protection laws such as the federal Truth and Lending Act, including Regulation Z, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Equal Credit Opportunity Act, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Unlawful Debt Collection Practices Act, and state and federal RICO statutes. Two of the firm’s founding partners, Michael Farrell and Stephen Yoshida, have served as primary Oregon counsel for two of the nation’s largest banks.
